About the event
This conference is geared towards individuals or groups interested in starting or improving a school or community garden. Topics will cover establishing a garden, using gardening as a theme in school curriculum, soil building and raised bed construction, obtaining funding and community support, and more!
August 2nd is 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and will consist of classroom education and will include lunch. August 3rd is 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and will include self-guided tours of community and school garden sites in Oklahoma City.
