The Not So Ugly Duck Race took place at the Myriad Gardens Water Stage on March 3, 2012.  Seven hundred rubber ducks raced to the finish line on a bright sunny Saturday, cheered on by supporters and spectators from the Myriad Gardens.  The winning duck was purchased and decorated on the day of the event by Ms. Michelle McPherson, who took home an iPad 2.  Other prizes included a Canon PowerShot camera and a $50 gift certificate to the Museum Cafe in the Oklahoma City Museum of Art.

This fundraiser was created, planned and implemented by the OKC Beautiful Teen Board.  The money raised will create a $1,000 service scholarship for a high school junior or senior.
